Project Manger

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee transit and rail projects to ensure adherence to schedules, budgetary constraints, and stringent quality standards.

  • Coordinate project teams effectively, overseeing all phases from planning and design through to procurement, construction, and commissioning.

  • Conduct thorough interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables and uphold rigorous quality control standards for design calculations and drawings.

  • Develop comprehensive technical specifications and provide strategic input into engineering budgets and schedules.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, embodying and promoting RSE Corp's values.

  • Directly manage personnel and project tasks associated with rail contracts, offering mentorship to junior team members and swiftly resolving any project-related issues.

  • Formulate and maintain detailed project execution plans, leading impactful meetings with clients and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with 10+ years’ experience (including 2+ years in leadership).

  • Transportation and Engineering industry knowledge

  • BART/Caltrain experience

  • Strong leadership, communication, and client interaction skills.

  • PE license in California


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of project management experience working on rail/transit or construction projects

  • Certified Project Manager (PMP certification).

  • Ability to analyze and inspire innovative solutions to complex challenges.

  • Able to demonstrate a high level of organizational ability, capable of pivoting and re-prioritizing to meet changing project needs and deadlines.

  • Proficiency and knowledge of computer software applications including Primavera P6, OpenRail/OpenRoads, Microsoft (MS) word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.


Competitive Salary and Benefits Package:

  • Compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $120,000-$250,000.
