Project Description

This project is to renovate BART’s traction power facilities, TP-011 and TP-012, which included replacement of traction power sectionalizing stations, switching stations, and gap breaker stations.

Scope of Services

RSE provided final design, preparation of PS&E contract documents, bid support, design integration among various disciplines including coordination of design and construction for grading, drainage, and utilities. RSE also provided field engineering management for interdisciplinary quality control reviews prior to submission of various elements of the project; coordinated with BART to schedule track allocation for field activities, as well as implementing safety and quality assurance/quality control program, developing monthly progress reports; and conducted various management and design integration meetings, quality and safety site walks, with key team members.
